About the Pack

We have put together a nifty modpack that stays close to vanilla with a few additions and tons of QOL. If this goes well we can continue to update the pack and add many many mods :)

Things to Know / Controls

All controls can easily be searched and changed in Options.

Quest Book

Top left of inventory when opened. Explains many custom items and progression.

More Inventory Buttons

Keybinds

M Fullscreen Map B Backpack (Tiered backpacks—recommended early!)

Minimap Settings

Y opens settings. Adjust icons, size, position, zoom, and more.

Things to Know / Controls (Cont.)

Mouse Inventory Tweaks

Tweaks right/left click behavior while dragging and moving items (similar to Rust quick‑loot). Full explanation on the mod page.

Mouse Tweaks – CurseForge

Homes and Warps

/sethome <name> # set a home at your current block
/home <name> # teleport to that home
/delhome <name> # delete the home
# Balance note: there is a short delay on teleports. Max homes: 5.
/warp # teleport to server POIs (added over time)

Chunks and Claims (FTB Chunks)

Optional but recommended to protect builds. Open the FTB Map from the top-left of inventory, then right‑click and drag to claim an area. Claimed areas are visible on the map.

Parties / Teams

Parties primarily manage chunk permissions. Team members share claim permissions unless the owner changes settings. Allied teams can be granted access too.

/ftbteams party create <name>
/ftbteams party invite <playername>

EMI & Recipe Viewing

EMI appears on the right side of your inventory. It’s an in‑game wiki for items and blocks with powerful recipe/usage lookup.

MAIN NON VANILLA‑MINECRAFT MODS (optional)

Create

The biggest gameplay changer—mechanical power, conveyors, trains, factories. It’s a learning curve but incredibly rewarding once automated. Use the wiki and community tutorials to go deep.

Farmer’s Delight / Rustic Delight

Expanded cooking with meals, tools, recipes, cutting boards, stoves—Rustic Delight adds even more variety.

Waystones

World teleportation using craftable waystones. Find them in villages or rarely in the wild.

Sophisticated Backpacks

Upgradeable backpacks you can wear or carry. Upgrades include auto‑pickup, filters, crafting grids, magnets, and more.

Sophisticated Storage

Brings the upgrade system to chests, barrels, and shulker‑likes, making storage flexible and powerful.

Tom’s Simple Storage

Simple but powerful networked storage. Connect inventories with cables to a central terminal for one big searchable inventory.

Storage Drawers

Bulk storage for single item types—great for cobble, dirt, crops. Capacity/compacting/counter upgrades and easy integration with networks.

Tombstone

On death, items go into a marked grave (findable via message/compass/commands). Extras include soul‑bound enchants and protection charms (config‑dependent).
